Terms and conditions

1. To be eligible for entry, participants need to place a valid order for any Guidelines study guides (printed books or eBooks) either online at www.macmillan.co.za or www.guidelines.co.za, or directly at Customer Services via telephone at 011 731 3300. Participants need to quote “iPhone” upon placing orders to be considered for participation.
2. The outcome of the competition is subject to the decision of the judges. The judges’ decision is final and no negotiations and/or correspondence will be entered into.
3. Prizes may not be exchanged for cash or any other prize, nor are they transferable.
4. No employees of Macmillan South Africa (Pty) Ltd, nor their immediate family members, are allowed to participate in the competition.
5. Macmillan South Africa (Pty) Ltd reserves the right, at its discretion, to cancel and/or suspend any competition.
6. The winner of the competition will be contacted telephonically and/or via email.
7. The winner agrees to cooperate with the company in participating in any public relations exposure.
8. By participating in the competition, participants consent to the following:
8.1 Macmillan may use participants’ personal information to communicate with them from time to time (participants may indicate if they do not wish to receive such communications).
8.2 Macmillan may use participants’ information for non-personal, statistical purposes.
8.3 Macmillan retains the copyright in databases of personal information of participants.
9. No personal information will be disclosed to third parties without participants’ permission.
10. No persons under the age of 16 may participate in the competition.
11. The competition closes on 31 January 2010.
