Outcomes of Workshop

This workshop will enable you to:

Describe the effects of changing the parameters a, p and q, in changing the shape of graphs, making graphs narrower or wider, and shifting them up or down and horizontally
Use the technique of plotting multiple graphs to demonstrate the effects of changing the parameters a, p and q
Draw graphs given the values of a, p and q
Sketch graphs of the inverses of the straight line, parabola and exponential graph
State restrictions on the domain of the original function for the inverse to be a function too
